Being in quarantine is hard. Being away from all your friends and yes, even your teachers, is hard. But if there’s one good thing about this coronavirus pandemic, it’s the time in which it has come. We are more connected now than ever before. Technology has given us the ability to create and maintain relationships, nearly regardless of the distance. With that being said, here is a fun, online challenge to do in quarantine!

HHS STUCO has organized a virtual spirit week for all USD 415 students. Dress up according to the day’s theme, and snap a picture to send to Mr. Diller. The themes are as follows:

Monday: Pajama day! Here’s a legitimate excuse to stay in your pajamas all day (as if you weren’t already.)

Tuesday: Since we weren’t able to have prom this year, here’s a good chance to show off your fancy dress or nice suit. If you weren’t going to go to prom anyway, that’s ok too! Have a virtual fashion show with your outfits from formal dances or events you’ve attended in the past.

Wednesday: I guarantee that this pandemic is a dream come true to our pets, because they finally get to spend all day with their favorite people. Take a fun picture or selfie with your quarantine buddy, so we can all appreciate just how amazing, cute, and wonderful they really are.

Thursday: Here’s a challenge that will guarantee some laughs! Post an old (preferably cringey) picture of yourself. Extra points if it includes a friend. Double the embarrassment, double the laughs!

Friday: Just because we aren’t at school, doesn’t mean that the pride has to stop. If anything, I think we should be even more proud that we are being flexible and tough enough to endure this challenge. Show off that Red Hawk Pride with your best red and blue gear.

Stay safe, stay sane, and have a great week!
